Telegram

To connect your chatbot to Telegram, you first need to create a bot on Telegram using the BotFather, a specialized Telegram chatbot designed for creating and managing other bots.

Click the "Start" button to activate the BotFather chatbot, and you will receive a list of commands for managing bots. Use the /newbot command to create your bot.

Choose a name for your bot that users will see during conversations. Additionally, you need to pick a unique username for your bot, which must end with the word "bot" so that users can find it through search.

 

 

After setting the username of your bot, BotFather will send you a congratulatory message containing an access token. Copy this access token, then navigate to the "Chat Applications" menu on your Onchat dashboard. 

 

 

Find the "Telegram" option and click the "Connect" button. In the popup window, paste the access token and click the "Save" button.

 

 

Your Telegram chatbot is now ready to interact with your users.
