How to create a chatbot

To set up your virtual assistant or chatbot, you'll just need to follow these three straightforward steps:

1. Registration
Begin by creating your OnChat account and verifying your email address. You can do that by clicking the “Create assistant” button on the homepage.

 

 

2. Customize and Train
Once your email is confirmed, personalize your chatbot by giving it a name and selecting its base language. This name will be used during conversations with users, so choose something memorable! Don't stress about the name; you can always change it later.

 

 

Then, connect your desired data sources and initiate the training process. Data sources serve as the learning material for your chatbot, whether from your website, sitemap, or direct text input – all of which can be edited at a later time.

 

3. Testing
After completing the Onboarding process, you’ll be redirected to your Dashboard. There, you can click the “Test Chatbot” button to try out your chatbot by asking questions based on your selected data inputs.
